Stone Painting


In addition to porcelain painting, stone painting was also conducted in our lab. As shown in the following pictures, three stones were coated with silver metal. The silver thickness is around 0.2 to 0.4 mm. The adhesion between silver and stone is very strong, therefore, could not separate by any knife. As a result, we can make a beautiful stone has silver surface by using a chemical-free process.

Bamboo Painting – Taiwanese Souvenir


Bamboos are of notable economic and cultural significance in Taiwan, hence a porcelain painting of bamboo-tree was created using silver and palladium. As shown in the following picture, it is a typical bamboo painting made of noble metals, a valuable Taiwanese souvenir.

Porcelain Painting – Taiwanese Souvenir


Silver along with palladium were painted on a porcelain to form a new porcelain painting. Different from regular porcelain painting, a noble-metal embossment was formed on the porcelain. As shown in the following picture, owing to the presence of palladium, this silver embossment has different colors. This is a new Taiwanese souvenir.

Taiwan Souvenir – Sweet Olive Leaves


Sweet olive native to Taiwan, therefore, it was cultivated as an ornamental plant in my garden. The leaves are long and broad, with an entire margin. Four leaves with stem were turned into their corresponding silver sculptures. To enhance the nobility, these silver leaves were palladiumized. As shown in the following pictures, these noble silver-leaves are nice Taiwan souvenirs.

Taiwanese Souvenirs


To demonstrate the unique of our silver leaves, two small maple leaves were turned into their silver sculptures. As shown in the following pictures, their vein-structures give beautiful textures. They are Taiwanese souvenirs.

Taiwanese Souvenirs


To show the unique shape of ginkgo-leaf in Taiwan, two leaves were turned into their silver sculptures. As shown in the following pictures, each leaf is beautiful, though they have different shapes.

Sugar Maple - Taiwanese Souvenir


Sugar maple is very rare in Taiwan, hence only imperfect leaf-blade was obtained at this time. As shown in the following pictures, although the obtained leaf has ruffled edge and bug holes, its corresponding silver sculpture is perfect. The silver leaf is obtained from a Taiwanese leaf, hence it is a Taiwanese souvenir.
