Palladium-Silver Calligraphy (10) – Taiwanese Souvenir

A Chinese “love” character in regular script was fabricated on a red ceramic tile by using palladium and silver. As shown in the following picture, red background exhibits a happy love in the Taiwanese souvenir.

Ginkgo Leaves (4) – Taiwanese Souvenir

I planted some ginkgo trees in my garden. Two ginkgo leaves were selected to turn into their corresponding silver sculptures. As shown in the following pictures, these two sculptures were framed as a Taiwanese souvenir.

Ginkgo Leaves (2) – Taiwan Souvenir

Although the ginkgo is not widely planted at Taipei, I could find some. As shown in the following pictures, an attractive leaf was turned into its corresponding silver sculpture. The framed silver leaf is Taiwan souvenir.

Ginkgo Leaves – Taiwan Souvenir

I like the attractive vein structure and jagged edge of ginkgo-leaf-blade, therefore, two leaves of the same plant were turned into their corresponding silver sculptures by using silver and palladium. As shown in the following pictures, these two adjacent leaves have different jagged edges. The Taiwan leaves should be Taiwan souvenir.

A composition of calligraphy and silver-leaf (2)


Chinese “Taiwan” characters were fabricated by using silver and palladium. To obtain a better artwork, as shown in the following picture, a composition of these characters and a silver leaf of Taiwan-wild-grape were formed on a black ceramic tile.

A Chinese “deity” character was fabricated on a ceramic tile by using silver and palladium. As shown in the following picture, however, a ginkgo silver leaf is being substituted for a part of this character. This is a new composition of silver leaf and calligraphy.

Pigeon is a typical peace symbol. Similar to the “peace” character, a pigeon was drawn on a ceramic tile by using silver and palladium. We need peace, as shown in the following picture, the color of silver and palladium is peaceful.
